Relationship Facilitation

Relationships are the divine mirror that we are offered to truly see ourselves through - they are the opportunity to get close enough to another person to access the deeper parts of ourselves that long to be integrated.  They teach us how to love ourselves,  and they are often the most powerful catalysts in our lives for growth and transformation... and sometimes that's not easy!

Much of the work that I do involves holding a vision of what is possible in relationship while developing the communication toolsets, and the understanding of each other's growth processes necessary for a couple co-create that vision together.

I work with couples who are experiencing crisis, couples who are relatively stable and want to take their relationship to the next level, and also new couples who want to develop a great foundation for a lasting, joyful relationship.  I welcome queer,  straight couples and polyamourous relationships, and have worked with many couples of mixed cultural background.

Helping people to speak from the heart and connect to each other's soul is my own life's calling, and I look forward to taking that journey with you.

Relationship Counseling over Skype, Facetime and Phone

I also offer relationship counseling via Skype or phone, in addition to offering sessions out of my office in the Northwest neighbhorhood of Portland, Oregon.   Many couples have to deal with child-care, and find it easier to do the session from the comfort of their own home. I am able to watch their expressions on the screen and they are able to have just as powerful of a session as they do in my office.  It takes less effort, and therefor it's easier to incorporate into the flow of your life.

Important Note: I do not claim to be a LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist). I have been extensively trained in many therepeutic models such as EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique),               Co-counseling, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, NLP (Neuro-linguistic Programming), Imago Relationship Therapy and Hypnotherapy as well as many non-traditional techniques.

After exploring the LMFT licensure path I concluded that it was not the most effective structure for me to work within and even limited my ability to offer my best healing tools to couples that I work with.
